| Adherence to the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension score and cardiovascular disease risk in Korean adults: a prospective cohort study using marginal structural models.
Higher DASH adherence was associated with lower CVD incidence among female participants. Consistent findings across Cox and MSMs analyses provides supportive evidence under causal assumptions. These findings suggest that the DASH dietary pattern may inform population-level dietary strategies for CVD prevention in Korean adults. |
| Magnesium Supplementation did not Reduce Serum Calciprotein Crystallization and Arterial Stiffness in Individuals with Type 2 Diabetes: a Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Trial.
Six-month magnesium citrate supplementation did not reduce calciprotein crystallization and arterial stiffness in older T2DM individuals with peripheral MAC. Daily supplementation of 350 mg appears to be ineffective in this population, possibly attributable to normomagnesemia and preserved renal function. Clinical trial registration |
| The impact of a continuum of care intervention from prevention to treatment on child wasting compared to usual community group activities: a cluster randomized controlled trial in Mali.
Strengthening the continuum of care of wasting through community groups reduced the incidence of wasting and SAM and improved screening coverage, which translated into a modest gain in SAM treatment coverage. |

| Penetrating ileocolic Crohn disease with intra-abdominal abscess: diagnose, drugs, drain, divert?
Penetrating terminal ileitis with abscesses was associated with adverse outcomes after ileocolic resection for Crohn disease. Optimal management includes preoperative diagnosis with repeated imaging at appropriate intervals preoperatively, antibiotic therapy, percutaneous drainage when indicated with maintenance of the drain until surgery, and selective diversion. |

| Influence of vedolizumab on extraintestinal manifestations in inflammatory bowel disease: a nationwide multicenter study of the GETECCU ENEIDA Registry.
VDZ achieved clinical response of active EIMs in nearly one-third of patients after 3 months. Although infrequent, VDZ may exacerbate inactive EIMs and induce de novo EIMs during therapy, potentially leading to treatment discontinuation. |
| Statin use is associated with lower rates of stricture development in patients with Crohn's disease: a propensity score-matched study of two nationwide population databases.
Statin use is independently associated with reduced progression to stricture formation in two PS-matched large and diverse cohorts of patients with CD. |
| Timing matters: recommendations for outcome assessment in real-world evidence studies of Crohn's disease.
We provide the first expert-endorsed temporal framework for outcome assessment in RWE studies of CD. Standardized measurement timing can enhance study comparability and methodological rigor, supporting more consistent interpretation of real-world data. Claims are limited to framework development and do not extend to direct clinical or regulatory impact. |

| Biomarkers of inflammation and risk of adverse events in patients with cirrhosis.
Inflammatory biomarkers effectively identify high-risk patients with AKI and cirrhosis. Incorporating these biomarkers into clinical decision-making has the potential to guide treatment. |
| Comparative analysis of early post-transplant infections after DCD with hypothermic oxygenated liver perfusion and DBD liver transplantation: A retrospective cohort study.
DCD liver recipients experienced more infections in the first post-transplant year. While mortality was not different, the increased infection rates in DCD recipients highlights the need for infection prevention and surveillance. |
| Fight songs: Why transplant patients battling for life deserve positive anthems, too.
Incorporating discussions of music and meaning into transplant care may humanize the medical experience and strengthen emotional recovery. Selecting a fight song can be another tool that healthcare providers recommend to empower transplant patients. |
| Preformed donor-specific antibodies are associated with acute rejection and biliary complications after liver transplantation: A Swiss Transplant Cohort Study analysis.
In summary, preformed DSA were associated with biliary complications, increased rejection, and reduced allograft survival. These findings suggest pre-transplant immunological risk assessment and the need for tailored immunosuppressive strategies in LT. |

| Clinical Outcomes of Ablative MR-Guided Adaptive SBRT for Pancreatic Lesions.
Ablative five‑fraction SMART is feasible, well tolerated and associated with encouraging early survival in pancreatic malignancies. The modest day‑to‑day tumor‑volume changes and low inter‑observer variation support the robustness of multi‑physician adaptive workflows. |
| Determination of Psychological Comorbidities in Children with Acute Recurrent or Chronic Pancreatitis Referred for Total Pancreatectomy with Islet Autotransplantation Evaluation: A Single-Center Study.
There was a high prevalence of psychological diagnoses/symptoms in patients with ARP/ CP including suicidal ideation. This highlights the need for future prospective studies to explore the role of mental health in disease outcomes in children with CP or ARP. |
| Diagnostic Performance of 68Ga-SSTR PET/CT and Contrast-Enhanced CT for Preoperative Lymph Node Staging in Duodenal and Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (DP-NENs): A Pathology-Validated Analysis.
68Ga-SSTR PET/CT provided superior detection of lymph node metastases (LNM) compared to ceCT. Preoperative integration of 68Ga-SSTR PET/CT, particularly in conjunction with ceCT, might enhance staging accuracy, guiding less aggressive surgical approaches and avoiding non-targeted lymphadenectomy, especially in patients with small DP-NENs. |
| Longitudinal Study of Comorbidities and Clinical Outcomes in Persons With Pancreatic Disease Using Electronic Health Records.
In this EHR analysis of patients with pancreatic disease, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer diagnoses were frequent and mortality was higher compared with the whole EHR sample. Metabolic dysfunction-associated clinical outcomes were common among persons with pancreatic disease. |
| Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Diminishes Ki-67 Overexpression and Persistent Overexpression is a Poor Prognostic Factor in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma After Pancreatectomy.
NAC diminishes Ki-67 overexpression, and persistent overexpression even after NAC is an independent poor prognostic factor of PDAC after pancreatectomy. The Ki-67 overexpression may mirror a high malignant state due to the low SMAD4 and high c-Myc expression. |
